Bill Maher is Officially a Terrorist
This just in: Bill Maher has officially joined Al Qaeda!

You can read about Bill Maher’s official announcement of his newly found Al-Qaeda membership here. It cracks me up when some liberals get mad when their patriotism is supposedly challenged. For the most part, I don’t think this actually takes place, but it should in this case. Here is a snippet of what he had to say…

But I have zero doubt that if Dick Cheney was not in power, people wouldn’t be dying needlessly tomorrow.

I’m just saying if he did die, other people, more people would live. That’s a fact.
Way to keep it classy Maher.

Essentially Maher is rooting for Al-Qaeda terrorists to be successful in their attempt to assassinate of a nationally elected figure. In other words, he hates democracy.

For a refresher, Bill Maher is the same guy who said in 2001 that the terrorists of 9/11 were brave warriors. He got a lot of crap for that statement, but frankly I agree with him. It might sound unpatriotic to commend the bravery of the enemy, but there is no way you can say that someone willing to sacrifice their life for a cause is a coward. As Maher said at the time, they are “moral cowards”, but extremely brave in terms of battle.

This, however, is a totally different situation. He has now chosen his side in the war on terrorism, and should probably be deported to Europe or wherever the hell his family came from. This guy is scum.

Well, it's ridiculous for you to say that Maher is rooting for Al-Qaeda. He doesn't like Cheney, and he, like many others, believe that if certain people were not in power less people would die.

And I agree 100% with you on what Maher said back in 2001. It is not a cowardly act. It's a stupid and despicable act, but it isn't cowardly, and it isn't unpatriotic to say so.

well it seemed like he regretted that they didnt succeed in killing Cheney. a lot more people have died under other presidents than have died under this one.

sorry didnt really finish my point...

more people have died under presidents of the past...maybe even needlessly. I think it is a little childish of Maher to complain about hte deaths under bush when i'm sure you could argue that many more deaths occured in other countries under clinton.

in fact, american policy against North Korea and Iraq alone resulted in far more deaths under Clinton than they have under Bush.

I don't call Clinton a murderer. I don't hope he dies. I don't root for Al-Qaeda to kill Al Gore...even though I just realized their names are dangerously similar.
